Toray Industries Teewave AR.1 by GMD If you jumped straight from the headline to here, you may be flushed with excitement at the prospect that Gordon Murray – the man responsible for the McLaren F1 – has penned an electric roadster – the Toray Teewave AR.1. Admittedly the name doesn’t roll of the tongue quite like ‘McLaren F1′, but we can forgive the uninspiring name as the Teewave AR.1 is bound to be impressive. Isn’t it?

KoenigSaab coming soon?

Koenigsegg are in the running to take over Saab Saab were given Swedish Government protection recently (similar to Chapter 11) to try and find a suitor or funding to operate independently. Of course they can’t do that completely, at least not in the short term, as they are so tied in to GM’s platforms on their current and soon to be released cars. But Saab has a strong – if quirky – history and, with the right backing, could stand alone as a niche maker of aesthetically individual cars.

Rolls-Royce reveals first Wraith teaser

Rolls-Royce has released the first teaser image of the its upcoming Wraith coupé. The image, which confirms that the Wraith is a fastback based on the Ghost, shows a chrome bezel surrounding the rakish DLO as well as rear-hinged doors, as have become an RR trademark. What we can't yet see is the treatment of the nose and tail.
